Koombea is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our QA team in Barranquilla or as a remote worker. Your main goal is to assess software quality and feature releases through automation testing.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for running automation tests and give feedback on time to your QA lead or by yourself. You’ll also interact with product managers, architects, developers as well as technical writers all throughout the product lifecycle - from concept to implementation - and act as the voice of the customer to maintain quality of the product suite.

Responsibilities
Work closely with Project Managers and QA Leads to review Requirements/Specifications, estimate tasks, and size project releases.
Oversight for all test planning, documentation and execution of functional, systems, end to end, and regression tests to uncover defects and improve the overall quality of the software.
Generate QA reports that clearly communicate QA results, concerns and project status with an emphasis on project risk, including defect rates.
Interface with business and project teams to understand and resolve any quality issues that are discovered during any phase of the project life cycle.
Review business requirements for gaps, traceability and testability.
Review test results and create test reports for QA management and senior leadership.
