Optical Network Engineer

Optical knowledge
Familiar with WDM/SDH project delivery, delivery project and troubleshooting during project life-time as technical expert and TD.
Know WDM/SDH product maintenance and problem analysis, understand WDM/SDH network routine maintenance, and alarm locating, trouble-shooting and network performance optimization.
Familiar with Huawei DWDM product, include service configuration, OTN principle, ASON function etc.
Fully understanding WDM multiplexing and signal flow, know how DWDM works and what will affect system performance.
Experienced on WDM site working, include fiber cabling, fiber splicing, fiber test, professional on anti-static and fiber cleaning operation.
General Requirements
Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred Telecommunications
A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience
Excellent interpersonal, written &verbal communications, analytical and problem-solving skills
Travel to perform duties, valid driver's license
Must be able to participate in a 24x7 on call rotation and work on regularly scheduled days as well as unscheduled days and beyond regular work hours as required
Must be able to use small hand tools, power tools, meters, and other test equipment
