We are looking for an exceptionally talented back end software engineer with a big picture mentality who thinks critically on many computer science disciplines and is excited to tackle challenges in making highly responsive web applications. Your passion for collaboration, quick iteration, and a knack for building beautiful user interfaces, robust services and scalable data processing jobs is a match to your drive. As a back end software engineer at Linkrease you will not only be taking on the role of technical expert where you will be architecting, designing, supporting and building code on the bleeding edge of tech for a massive audience; but you will also become a member of a mission driven founding team and given an initial equity grant. You are a TypeScript developer who is experienced deploying cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS services and with clear working knowledge of REST and developing APIs. Working collaboratively with the engineering and product teams on different layers of the infrastructure your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.Js workflows and ensuring that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. Responsibilities: Here's what we are looking for: - A proactive team player who can work across domains to get projects accomplished while maintaining priorities. - Expert knowledge of computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design. - Background in at least one programming languages (e.g., R, Ruby, Python, Java, Scala, PHP, JavaScript) - Experience with non-relational (We use DynamoDB) and relational databases (No SQL and SQL). - Work with the latest and greatest Typescript / JavaScript front end tools including experience with modern frameworks (React / Angular /Ember) and debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, etc.) - Hands on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure services with particular emphasis on DynamoDB, Cognito, Lambdas, Neptune, Lambdas, Beanstalk, Eventbrite, and API Gateway. - Understanding of OAuth2.0 and REST API standards - Experience with stream processing technologies (e.g. Flink, Kafka. Storm, Beam) is a huge plus. - Docker and Kubernetes highly desired. >
