As Senior Backend Developer, your mission is to develop and maintain our core backend, which handles several types of financial operations, calculates money exchange rates and does Valiu's treasury operations. This involves maintaining and developing integrations with third parties, writing unit tests to ensure the quality of the code and documenting your work so that other people can easily understand it.
Challenges:
Build a scalable, reliable, fast and secure financial infrastructure.
Reduce technical debt and bugs in production to increase user's trust.
Integrate conventional development processes with our in-house blockchain initiative.

Additional details:
We work during weekends and most holidays (unless you're taking days from your solid holiday's perk).
We follow 2-week sprints. They start with a full day of planning/grooming, and end with a squad wide presentation.
We do project-based work. You'll be accountable for projects you own from inception to delivery.
