In your role, you will:
Be part of the Program Project Management Office (PMO), you will be deployed into the incremental department and Design to Cost activities
You will assist the project Manager and work In close collaboration with other PMOs of the same scope to synchronize, compile and propose adjustments to the Integrated Plan (Schedule and Resources), and manage risks and opps related to it.
The holder of the position will gain extensive exposure & benefit from working within a transnational team and also within a cross-functional environment including program, engineering, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, procurement, finance etc. This is a great way to see more of Airbus!
Description of the job
Assist in overall planning, tracking and documentation of the project from project identifying critical path and resources, margins and buffers and highlighting potential clashes or misalignments.
Support the Flow Management activities
Monitor the project by tracking the technical deliverables, to ensure their progress,
Coordinate with the relevant project functions, and to escalate the blocking issues.
Support the Team board's deployment and lead to the daily drumbeat of the activity.Report on progress between the Project teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply chain)
Assist Step lead in administrative functions of project related assignments, such as scheduling meetings and taking minutes of meetings.
As our ideal candidate,
You have aBachelor in Aerospace Engineering - Manufacturing/Engineering Management or equivalent is desirable but not essential
You have an Engineering /Technical background to understand engineering activities in a manufacturing environment
You have or in process to have PMI certificate
Strong people skills and good stakeholder management: listening, negotiation, conflict management, communication and intercultural skills in an international context
You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, transverse project environment
You have A willingness to undertake project management methodology training
You perform well when working under pressure and independently.
You have demonstrated your influence with managers
Knowledge of aircraft structure and the respective development processes would be a plus
You demonstrate innovation, commitment and perseverance.
You are a good communicator, both written and spoken, in English and French.
You have the Ability to propose & implement new monitoring opportunities for Cost/Quality/Schedule improvement
