Description of the job
Reporting to the Section chief Project structure, in your role of Design To Cost Program Management Officer (DtC PMO), you will:
Support and coordinate airframe DtC plateaus with teams located on different Airbus site (Europe and Canada),
Plan according plateaus capacities and target of DtC airframe project from G0 to G2,
Follow progress and adherence to the plan of those projects,
Follow activities with suppliers involved,
Ensure that priorities are addressed,
Report weekly performance across organizations and upper management,
Coach newcomers in the team to use tools and processes,
Contribute to continuous improvements of processes related to plateau activities,
Provide support to the BOOST team,
Collaborate with IWT teams and Project Lead to ensure proper pass-over of plateaus project to the change process.
Schedule and organize the projects to be presented @the DtC gate reviews, or at large during any DtC critical forums.
Proactively foresee any potential delay and propose mitigation plans
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate;
You have an Engineering Bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
You have three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in project management or equivalent.
You are fluent in both French and English
You ideally have experience in aerospace.
You demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
You have superior skills in MS Office including MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel.
You are a team player with strong communication skills who interfaces well with the many business partners involved.
You show a good level of autonomy. (no need to be reminded what to perform or what to prepare in advance)
