Position Summary
This is a full-time position based on the San Francisco State campus. Position Information
Early Practicum Program Implementation and Development
Lead Coach Coordinate Jumpstart program implementation and planning, ensuring high quality program implementation for program partners, field mentor teachers, and Corps members
Support and provide complex analysis and recommendations for 64 Jumpstart students. Use data to provide cohort of Corps members with systematic support, consistent and responsive management, and clear ongoing communication
Serve as main point of contact for participants in the Jumpstart program and connect other prospective students to their respective program based on need
Oversee and Support compliance process to ensure files for preschool evaluation collection and data entry by working with program leads
Lead preparation and submission of reports on programmatic performance to Jumpstart Northern California Office on a quarterly basis
Oversee and Support management of Corps member compliance files to Corporation for National and Community Service and/or Grantee specifications; support Corps members in the completion of expected service hour requirements
Serve as the primary point of contact for all early childhood programs in the City and develop relationships to establish early practicum and placement. Ensure early childhood agencies are familiar with Jumpstart, PATH, and SF SEED programs, and work with agencies and centers to provide in service work days, support with educational planning and have access to Jumpstart and PATH community programing (i.e. Minimum Qualifications
Entry to this classification requires general knowledge and skills in the applicable administrative and/or program field with a foundational knowledge of public administration principles, practices, and methods. This foundation would normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs. General knowledge and skills in the applicable administrative and/or program field with a foundational knowledge of public administration principles, practices, and methods Knowledge of and ability to apply fundamental concepts. Ability to train others on new skills and procedures and provide lead work direction. Thorough knowledge of and ability to apply extensive expertise to complex programs and/or administrative specialties, including pertinent laws and regulations. Preferred Qualifications
The position requires knowledge and experience in early childhood education, knowledge of adult learning, skills to coach and mentor early childhood educators, ability to establish relationships with early childhood teachers in a variety of settings and capable of providing supportive and constructive feedback.
