This is a full-time position based on the San Francisco State campus. The position includes supporting with in program/class activities and making presentations and follow up visits to preschool centers to coach Jumpstart corps members in their implementation of Jumpstart program literacy and language skills and early child education competencies, including early math skill development. The position works collaboratively with the PATH and SF SEED program teams. Position Information
Jumpstart Program Implementation
- Support Jumpstart program implementation and planning, ensuring high-quality program implementation for program partners, mentor teachers, and Corps members
- Work and coordinate with partner agencies and sites to recruit children and families for the school readiness program, identifying ways to ensure children are attending and following up with families to schedule sessions with college students and children
- Process, maintain, and manage the Jumpstart Resource Center (HSS 264) materials for the program
- Maintain and update information and data at the Jumpstart Resource Center (HSS 264)
- Support program activates (i.e. This foundation would normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs. - Working knowledge of and ability to apply standard theories, principles, practices, and techniques applicable to the program and/or administrative specialty to develop conclusions and make recommendations. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures. - Ability to compile, write, and present reports related to program or administrative specialty. - Ability to train others on new skills and procedures and provide lead work direction.
