Within UMB Consumer loans, the Consumer Loan Facilitatormanages the pipeline (tracking, monitoring, follow up, & coordination with multiple departments) to keep the processing of loan requests on track.
How you will spend your time:
Work collaboratively with department manager to review processes and provide input to improve workflow efficiency and risk mitigation
Step in and perform any role within the workgroup when necessary (i.e. Consumer Loan Coordinator or Consumer Loan Coordinator RE)
Serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems
Facilitate and stay on top of escalations and rush requests
Assist department manager with facilitation of onboarding new associates
Communicate effectively with all parties involved both internally and externally
We are excited to talk to you if you have:
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years Consumer and Real Estate Loan Coordinating experience Demonstrates understanding of RESPA, Reg. Z, and Reg. B Compliance
Demonstrated knowledge of consumer loans which includes loan documentation & loan structure
Demonstrated ability to understand the bank loan policy and regulatory compliance
Demonstrated awareness & understanding of how loan administration's workflows and procedures can impact business partners
Demonstrated strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated strong attention to detail
Demonstrated strong ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
Demonstrated strong teamwork skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with coworkers, managers, business partners and customers
Demonstrated ability to mentor/train others
